Wrap Around Heat Pack - Sandhills At Sunset

This print is designed by Aboriginal artist, Holly Sanders. Holly Sanders is a proud Bundjalung artist and educator from the North Coast of New South Wales. She currently lives and works on Yuin Country, on the South Coast of New South Wales. Through her art, she aims to share her stories, culture, and Country in a contemporary way.
This piece represents the importance of sand environments on Bundjalung Country. Sand environments around the ocean and estuaries provided an abundance of wild food where there were always plenty of resources to share among the community. Turtles, shellfish, swan and duck eggs, and plants such as water lily bulbs, sea celery, and pig face were among some of the many food resources. Middens were also common and unfortunately, sand mining and development destroyed many valuable midden sites. The passing on of knowledge about Country to the younger generation is an important tradition and sand painting was also a common art form in coastal areas, where coloured sands were used to create a temporary picture and story which was then washed away by the next high tide - Holly Sanders.

This is an absolute staple. My old wheat bag smelt funky and the wheat would all fall to the one side. I love how the lupins are meticulously stitched into their own little sections so that it’s all even! You can feeeeel the love and care that’s gone into the entire process of making this! I even got another for my mother in law to help with her recent back injury!
The saviour heat pack!
Love that I can move around with my heat pack on! Thanks Spoonie!
Great! Love how it stays in place. And my husband steals it from me to use it on his lower back!
Love it thanks
Great. Been looking to buy another one for a while now
